I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
